Immunogen: Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 200 kDa
Uniprot: P35968
Gene id: 3791
Background: KDR, also named as VEGFR-2, FLK1 and CD309, is a receptor for VEGF or VEGFC. KDR which belongs to the protein kinase superfamily, has a tyrosine-protein kinase activity. The VEGF-kinase ligand
receptor signaling system plays a key role in vascular development and regulation of vascular permeability. In case of HIV-1 infection, the interaction with extracellular viral Tat protein seems to enhance angiogenesis in Kaposi's sarcoma lesions. KDR functions as the main mediator of VEGF-induced endothelial proliferation, survival, migration, tubular morphogenesis and sprouting. Mutations of this gene are implicated in infantile capillary hemangiomas.
Field of research: Signal Transduction, Metabolism, Cardiovascular, Immunology, Developmental biology
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, IHC, WB,FC
Dilution: WB: 1:500-1:1000; IHC: 1:50-1:500
Target: KDR
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
