ZFP36L2 antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: zinc finger protein 36, C3H type-like 2
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 51 kDa
Uniprot: P47974
Gene id: 678
Background: mRNA-binding protein that plays a key role in self-renewal of erythroid cells in response to glucocorticoids. Specifically binds to the AU-rich element(ARE) in the 3'-UTR of target mRNAs, promoting their deadenylation and degradation(PubMed:14981510). Specifically expressed in burst-forming unit-erythroid(BFU-E) progenitors in response to glucocorticoids and acts as a negative regulator of erythroid cell differentiation: promotes self-renewal of erythroid cells by binding mRNAs that are induced or highly expressed during terminal erythroid differentiation and promotes their degradation, preventing erythroid cell differentiation. Down-regulated during erythroid differentiation from the BFU-E stage, stabilizing mRNAs required for terminal differentiation(By similarity).
Field of research: Signal Transduction, Metabolism
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, WB
Dilution: WB: 1:200-1:2000
Target: ZFP36L2
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
