PTPMT1 antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: protein tyrosine phosphatase, mitochondrial 1
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 21-23 kDa
Uniprot: Q8WUK0
Gene id: 114971
Background: Lipid phosphatase which dephosphorylates phosphatidylglycerophosphate(PGP) to phosphatidylglycerol(PG). PGP is an essential intermediate in the biosynthetic pathway of cardiolipin, a mitochondrial-specific phospholipid regulating the membrane integrity and activities of the organelle. Has also been shown to display phosphatase activity toward phosphoprotein substrates, specifically mediates dephosphorylation of mitochondrial proteins, thereby playing an essential role in ATP production. Has probably a preference for proteins phosphorylated on Ser and
or Thr residues compared to proteins phosphorylated on Tyr residues. Probably involved in regulation of insulin secretion in pancreatic beta cells(By similarity).
Field of research: Metabolism
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, WB, IHC
Dilution: WB: 1:200-1:1000; IHC: 1:20-1:200
Target: PTPMT1
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
