PRPF8 antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: PRP8 pre-mRNA processing factor 8 homolog
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 274 kDa
Uniprot: Q6P2Q9
Gene id: 10594
Background: Pre-mRNA splicing occurs in 2 sequential transesterification steps. The protein encoded by this gene is a component of both U2- and U12-dependent spliceosomes, and found to be essential for the catalytic step II in pre-mRNA splicing process. It contains several WD repeats, which function in protein-protein interactions. This protein has a sequence similarity to yeast Prp8 protein. This gene is a candidate gene for autosomal dominant retinitis pigmentosa.
Field of research: Neuroscience, Metabolism, Epigenetics
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months (Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, WB, IHC
Dilution: WB: 1:500 - 1:1000; IHC: 1:50 - 1:100
Target: PRPF8
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
