PPARG antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 58 kDa
Uniprot: P37231
Gene id: 5468
Background: This gene encodes a member of the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) subfamily of nuclear receptors. PPARs form heterodimers with retinoid X receptors (RXRs) and these heterodimers regulate transcription of various genes. Three subtypes of PPARs are known: PPAR-alpha, PPAR-delta, and PPAR-gamma. The protein encoded by this gene is PPAR-gamma and is a regulator of adipocyte differentiation. Additionally, PPAR-gamma has been implicated in the pathology of numerous diseases including obesity, diabetes, atherosclerosis and cancer. Alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different isoforms have been described.
Field of research: Signal Transduction, Metabolism, Cardiovascular, Developmental biology, Neuroscience, Stem Cells
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, WB, IF, IHC, IP
Dilution: WB: 1:500-1:2000; IHC: 1:50-1:200; IF: 1:10-1:100; IP: 1:500-1:1000
Target: PPARG
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
