PKM antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: PKM2 pyruvate kinase, muscle
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 58 kDa
Uniprot: P14618
Gene id: 5315
Background: Glycolytic enzyme that catalyzes the transfer of a phosphoryl group from phosphoenolpyruvate(PEP) to ADP, generating ATP. Stimulates POU5F1-mediated transcriptional activation. Plays a general role in caspase independent cell death of tumor cells. The ratio betwween the highly active tetrameric form and nearly inactive dimeric form determines whether glucose carbons are channeled to biosynthetic processes or used for glycolytic ATP production. The transition between the 2 forms contributes to the control of glycolysis and is important for tumor cell proliferation and survival.
Field of research: Stem Cells, Cancer, Cardiovascular, Metabolism
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, IHC, WB
Dilution: WB: 1:500-1:2000; IHC: 1:20-1:200
Target: PKM
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
Reactivity: Human, Mouse
