MSH3 antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: mutS homolog 3
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 123 kDa
Uniprot: P20585
Gene id: 4437
Background: Component of the post-replicative DNA mismatch repair system(MMR). Heterodimerizes with MSH2 to form MutS beta which binds to DNA mismatches thereby initiating DNA repair. When bound, the MutS beta heterodimer bends the DNA helix and shields approximately 20 base pairs. MutS beta recognizes large insertion-deletion loops(IDL) up to 13 nucleotides long. After mismatch binding, forms a ternary complex with the MutL alpha heterodimer, which is thought to be responsible for directing the downstream MMR events, including strand discrimination, excision, and resynthesis.
Field of research: Epigenetics, Metabolism, Cancer, Immunology, Developmental biology
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, WB
Dilution: WB: 1:500-1:2000
Target: MSH3
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
Reactivity: Human
