MCM2 antibody - 100 µg
Host : Mouse
Clonality: Monoclonal
Clone: 4E3
Isotype: IgG2a
Immunogen: minichromosome maintenance complex component 2
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 116-125 kDa
Uniprot: P49736
Gene id: 4171
Background: Acts as component of the MCM2-7 complex(MCM complex) which is the putative replicative helicase essential for 'once per cell cycle' DNA replication initiation and elongation in eukaryotic cells. The active ATPase sites in the MCM2-7 ring are formed through the interaction surfaces of two neighboring subunits such that a critical structure of a conserved arginine finger motif is provided in trans relative to the ATP-binding site of the Walker A box of the adjacent subunit. The six ATPase active sites, however, are likely to contribute differentially to the complex helicase activity. Required for the entry in S phase and for cell division.
Field of research: Epigenetics, Cancer, Immunology, Metabolism
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, WB
Dilution: WB: 1:1000-1:2000
Target: MCM2
Purification: Protein A+G purification
Reactivity: Human
