HDAC8 antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: histone deacetylase 8
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 43 kDa
Uniprot: Q9BY41
Gene id: 55869
Background: Histones play a critical role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression, and developmental events. Histone acetylation
deacetylation alters chromosome structure and affects transcription factor access to DNA. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to class I of the histone deacetylase family. It catalyzes the deacetylation of lysine residues in the histone N-terminal tails and represses transcription in large multiprotein complexes with transcriptional co-repressors. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Field of research: Epigenetics, Immunology, Cardiovascular, Metabolism
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months (Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, WB, IHC
Dilution: WB: 1:500 - 1:2000; IHC: 1:50 - 1:200
Target: HDAC8
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
