FBP1 antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase 1
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 37 kDa
Uniprot: P09467
Gene id: 2203
Background: Catalyzes the hydrolysis of fructose 1,6-bisphosphate to fructose 6-phosphate in the presence of divalent cations, acting as a rate-limiting enzyme in gluconeogenesis. Plays a role in regulating glucose sensing and insulin secretion of pancreatic beta-cells. Appears to modulate glycerol gluconeogenesis in liver. Important regulator of appetite and adiposity; increased expression of the protein in liver after nutrient excess increases circulating satiety hormones and reduces appetite-stimulating neuropeptides and thus seems to provide a feedback mechanism to limit weight gain.
Field of research: Metabolism
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, IHC, WB, IF, IP
Dilution: WB: 1:5000-1:20000; IP: 1:500-1:1000; IHC: 1:100-1:400; IF: 1:50-1:500
Target: FBP1
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
