FABP2 antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: fatty acid binding protein 2, intestinal
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 15 kDa
Uniprot: P12104
Gene id: 2169
Background: FABP are thought to play a role in the intracellular transport of long-chain fatty acids and their acyl-CoA esters. FABP2 is probably involved in triglyceride-rich lipoprotein synthesis. Binds saturated long-chain fatty acids with a high affinity, but binds with a lower affinity to unsaturated long-chain fatty acids. FABP2 may also help maintain energy homeostasis by functioning as a lipid sensor.
Field of research: Signal Transduction, Metabolism, Cardiovascular, Developmental biology, Stem Cells
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, WB, IHC
Dilution: WB: 1:500 - 1:2000; IHC: 1:50 - 1:500
Target: FABP2
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
Reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat
