COPE antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: coatomer protein complex, subunit epsilon
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 36 kDa
Uniprot: O14579
Gene id: 11316
Background: The coatomer is a cytosolic protein complex that binds to dilysine motifs and reversibly associates with Golgi non-clathrin-coated vesicles, which further mediate biosynthetic protein transport from the ER, via the Golgi up to the trans Golgi network. The coatomer complex is required for budding from Golgi membranes, and is essential for the retrograde Golgi-to-ER transport of dilysine-tagged proteins. In mammals, the coatomer can only be recruited by membranes associated with ADP-ribosylation factors(ARFs), which are small GTP-binding proteins; the complex also influences the Golgi structural integrity, as well as the processing, activity, and endocytic recycling of LDL receptors(By similarity).
Field of research: Signal Transduction
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, WB, IF, IHC
Dilution: WB: 1:500-1:2000; IHC: 1:20-1:200; IF: 1:20-1:200
Target: COPE
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
Reactivity: Human
