CHAF1A antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: chromatin assembly factor 1, subunit A(p150)
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 150 kDa
Uniprot: Q13111
Gene id: 10036
Background: Core component of the CAF-1 complex, a complex thought to mediate chromatin assembly in DNA replication and DNA repair. Assembles histone octamers onto replicating DNA in vitro. CAF-1 performs the first step of the nucleosome assembly process, bringing newly synthesized histones H3 and H4 to replicating DNA; histones H2A
H2B can bind to this chromatin precursor subsequent to DNA replication to complete the histone octamer. CHAF1A binds to histones H3 and H4. It may play a role in heterochromatin maintenance in proliferating cells by bringing newly synthesized cbx proteins to heterochromatic DNA replication foci(By similarity).
Field of research: Metabolism
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, IHC, WB, IP, IF
Dilution: WB: 1:1000-1:4000; IP: 1:500-1:2000; IHC: 1:20-1:200; IF: 1:50-1:500
Target: CHAF1A
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
Reactivity: Human, Mouse
