CD59 antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: CD59 molecule, complement regulatory protein
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 18-20 kDa
Uniprot: P13987
Gene id: 966
Background: Potent inhibitor of the complement membrane attack complex(MAC) action. Acts by binding to the C8 and
or C9 complements of the assembling MAC, thereby preventing incorporation of the multiple copies of C9 required for complete formation of the osmolytic pore. This inhibitor appears to be species-specific. Involved in signal transduction for T-cell activation complexed to a protein tyrosine kinase. The soluble form from urine retains its specific complement binding activity, but exhibits greatly reduced ability to inhibit MAC assembly on cell membranes.
Field of research: Stem Cells, Immunology, Signal Transduction
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, WB, IHC, FC, IF
Dilution: WB: 1:500-1:2000; IHC: 1:20-1:200; IF: 1:20-1:200
Target: CD59
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
Reactivity: Human
