AKT2 antibody - 100 µg
Host : Rabbit
Clonality: Polyclonal
Clone:
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: v-akt murine thymoma viral oncogene homolog 2
Purity: ≥95% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Form: Liquid
Molecular weight: 55 kDa
Uniprot: P31751
Gene id: 208
Background: AKT2 is one of 3 closely related serine
threonine-protein kinases (AKT1, AKT2 and AKT3) called the AKT kinase, and which regulate many processes including metabolism, proliferation, cell survival, growth and angiogenesis and their activation has been observed in a wide variety of cancers. AKT2 is mainly involved in cancer cell survival, apoptosis inhibition, migration and invasion(PMID:21979951). The full length protein has four glycosylation sites.
Field of research: Metabolism, Cardiovascular, Immunology, Developmental biology, Neuroscience
Storage conditions: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3, -20°C for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze
thaw cycles.)
Applications: ELISA, WB, IHC, IP
Dilution: WB: 1:500-1:2000; IP: 1:200-1:2000; IHC: 1:20-1:200
Target: AKT2
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified
