The Belgrade Workshop on Farm Animal Proteomics

15 September 2014

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade

The Belgrade Workshop on Farm Animal Proteomics aims to provide a broad educational base for proteomics research in farm animals, and more generally in veterinary medicine. The key issues that this workshop will address are:

  • The purpose of proteomic research in veterinary medicine
  • The technical organization of laboratory work to enable good sampling and preparative procedures
  • Local and regional networking opportunities in this research area

In addition, Professor Vladimir Mrljak (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb, Croatia) will be talking about his experiences of a successful FP7 “ERA Chairs” project submission. The workshop will be attended by not only Doctors of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), but also Life Sciences and Biotechnology joint researchers.
